Abstract
The author, who lived with Malaguzzi and has lived his educational experience intensely, reviews his biography from his childhood in Correggio to the consolidation of his pedagogical proposal in Solorno y Cella. The various stages of Malaguzzi's life help to understand his personal strength, the collective meaning of his pedagogical proposal and the political dimension of the schools stablished under the new vision of childhood that he proposed.
