Abstract
T
he lack of continuity of the public politics between the different governments that succeed leads us to think we must analyze the construction process of the national curriculums. In this article we tackle the Latin American processes: we will focus on the characteristics and on the remarkable processes of these instruments.
Through the evolution of the politics of quality in Latin America, the main tendencies of the construction of the national and official curriculums in the region are presented, and we contribute showing the conclusions about the construction and/or updating and implementation processes that are being carried out in this new stage in Latin America.
